The Trevor Arms Hotel,
The "facilities" needed to be totally stripped out and renewed, it was apparent that the old toilets were worn and dated, we needed to be aware that it needs to be hard wearing, easy to clean, sturdy and pleasing to the eye.
We used venetian stucco on the ceilings, and microcement on the walls and floors. The sinks were built from marine ply and then coated with microcement. The ladies toilets have venetian stucco on the ceiling, marmorino on the walls with the stencils, and microcement on the floor and sink tops.
The restaurant was in need of a revamp, the old look was to dark and dated so the whole room was renewed with new plaster throughout and a new solid oak floor was laid The lighting was replaced to give a brighter but still intimate effect, and the previously open kitchen was shut off and doors installed for a quieter feel to the whole room.
The Hotel is situated between Wrexham and Chester and the hosts Gillian and Clive always give a friendly and warm welcome, please visit their site and drop in for a beer or an overnight stay you won't be dissappointed.
